We will endeavour to present a first draft within 4 working weeks of commissioning the project, with opportunities to request changes.
Your website should be launched and live within 8 working weeks of commissioning the project.
You will be offered full training in the use of the content management system at our offices in Stafford at a time to suit you, within normal working hours.
You will be offered support and advice via telephone and e-mail for the life of your site as a part of the hosting fee you pay yearly, no ‘extra charge’ for advice and support!
We will endeavour to offer 99% uptime on our server. So far this year we have offered 100%.
We will continue to value you as a customer over the months and years, offering you courtesy and support consistent with our core principles as your developer/host.
Your commitment to us:
A successful web development project requires some commitment from both sides. To ensure that a project moves forward at a jolly pace and without the usual hiccups which can be associated with the industry, you agree to commit to the following:
You will provide content for the site (products with prices and descriptions, photography, and any written text etc.) within four weeks of commissioning the project.
You will approve the design we send over to you or request any possible changes or faults within two working weeks.
Falling asleep: Surprisingly, website projects can sometimes be allowed to ‘fall asleep’ by clients. We understand that sometimes projects cannot move forward due to lack of communication by a client, non-provision of content, no design approval, business or illness etc, and a project can end up in limbo! You the client understand that should a sleep period exceed 30 days and a website has been built and a design presented, then we will assume you are happy and launch the site, and you will be completely happy to pay the closing balance. Don’t panic! When you’re ready, we’ll still put all your content on for you and give you your training, you’re still a valued customer, and will get a great website.
You agree that you are commissioning the project for 50% of the value of the project. Having received 50%, we bring our projects to a launch-ready state, therefore that 50% is non-refundable. You are committing to a complete project for 100% of the value.
You agree that the closing balance of 50% will be paid in full on the day you receive your training, immediately prior to the launch of the website.
You understand that even after the closing balance is paid, the project will remain as ‘open’ for 30 days to protect you. This is to ensure that any issues that are raised during the training session immediately prior to the launch of the site will be dealt with, and will not interfere with the payment of the closing balance and the launch of your shiny new website!
